1st stop...Dublin, TX to tour the original Dr. Pepper plant...and sipped on a nice cold bottle of Dublin Dr. Pepper while we toured. Then we went over to Brenham to tour the Ice Cream Plant. YUM, YUM!!!!!!!!!
Next stop...San Antonio...toured the Alamo and The Riverwalk and ate lunch on the riverwalk.
And of course, we dropped by to visit with our Godparents/Cousins!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Galveston was last on the list. Pretty dissappointed. It is still not "put back together" yet. ut the kids had a great time running around on the beach!
It may have been at the last minute...and it may have been short and sweet...but it was certainlly worth every minute to get away from the schdules and chores and kiss summer goodbye in style. Now I feel like I can breath again and face the new school year with a little more energy.
