We decided to take a little break and come home one night before dark and let the kids get all their wiggles out!!!!

A Nice Little Visit

That wasn't long enough! But I am glad we got to see them. Unfortunately their dad was at work and Kevin was at camp so it wasn't a complete reunion!We went to Houston to visit with our Godparents/Cousins! They have six kids of their own!!!

So it always make for a nice size group of kids to play with!

They are adjusting well to naptime in the car!

Never thought I would see the day!

I know this may shock most of you...
It shocks me even more!!!

Kevin went to A & M University this summer to Tennis Camp.

It was a two hour drive for us..I know this all too well because we drove there every morning and drove home every night!!!

We had planned to stay in the area with him for the week but things changed daily for us and we never could decide what to do. But coming home every night actually worked out well. The kids were glad to be home in their own beds and we saw Kevin when we could. So it wasn't so bad! I am not going to lie to you, I did have a few minor panic attackes before he went but once he got there I knew I could see him every day so I was okay with it all. The facialty and coaches were awesome! I felt comfortable with him being there before I left that first night. I knew they were really preprared! He had a great time but I know he is writing his own blog about it so I am trying not so say too much!

I will say I am SOOOOO glad he is home and had a good time. I am proud of myself for letting him go!

Picnic Follow Up

We figured it up this year...we have been doing this about 7 years now!!!You can't go wrong with fried chicken, potato salad and watermelon!!!!!!!!
