New Year's Eve Party

First time ever we gave the kids full reign over a party....

They made a list of what they wanted at their New Year's Eve party and decided what we would do to stay awake.

Hayley (conviently) got a disco ball for Christmas that we used to enhance the party! We passed the time by playing Wii and snacking and when we got desperate we would go outside for some fresh air to wake us up again. Our snacks were, party mix(trash), shirley temples, cheese and crackers, and mixed nuts!

All of us including all 4 kids stayed awake the entire time. We kind of cheated and gave the baby a GOOd nap during the afternoon, though. I was more worried that I would fall asleep! Ha! They all got to ring in the new year! First time we were ever all awake at midnight!!!!!!!!!! We just made history folks! Ecspecially considering this is the family that is usualy always in bed by 7:30 pm every night!

Check list

Made scrambled eggs, toast with grape jelly, fresh orange slices, milk and coffee. Breakfast: check Trash day after 1 1/2 weeks with no service: check Ready to spend the day with my monkeys: check Game on!!!!

I had a wonderful day! My kids deserved everything they received and more!!!! I really enjoy rewarding them for being the greatest kids in the world! They are MY GIFTS! So thankful and happy today! Frosting on the cake: one more week home with my monkeys. YAY!!!!!!! Wish school was out for good! Is it June, yet???? Merry Christmas everyone!!!!!!!!!!!

Tractor Party, that is!

Ryan had a wonderful day riding his tractor and playing with his new toys. He decided what his cake was going to be all by himself! When he saw this tractor(lego build a toy) he knew he wanted it on his cake. He is one tractor crazy kid!!!!

Trains @ North Park

Took Ryan & Friends to see the Trains @ North Park. He LOVED them, of course!!!!!!
