Kevin's Confirmation
I was prepared for this day to be tough! We had to be two places at the same time!
Sara's recital pics were scheduled for this 10:45 am an Kevin's Confirmation was to be at noon with his pictures following.
Of course, I couldn't be in two places at once and I didn't want to have Sara miss pictures(the pictures decorate the hallways and walls of the studio and she would forever walk into dance reminded of not being with her group on picture day) so I sucked it up an took everyone with me all dressed in Sundays best to reciatl pics(Sara in her costume, though.) This year ONLY they have decided to do make up for pictures. Which was to be a stark doily pattern in black paint across her face(that during practice was very hard to remove) so I made a personal decision to NOT participate in(Sara was the only one NOT in make-up, she didn't mind, she didn't want it at all). I was not about to take her to mass like that. Not to mention that I was keeping my fingers crossed that I woud make it out of here on time and all the way to another town with a change of clothes for Sara by noon. Of course, we were running behind...at 10:45 the photographer was still working on a two groups ahead of us. Make-up was the hold up!!!! Recital is one thing~you can't see it anyway the kids are on stage in bright lights and so far away!!!
But guess what????? We hade it out of there at 11 am!!!!!!! I couldn't even believe it!!!!!

Maggie, Kevin's sponsor was with Kevin. It went so smoothly I felt like I was in a dream all day. We had a little time between confiratino and mass again at 5pm that we decided to go to El Fenix for a lunch/dinner and just relaxed and ate. We made it back to mass and then home very tired but had a very good day!

Every day is Mother's Day!
Went to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch...
Then to the park for annual pics in the sun...
I get to stay home with my monkeys every single day
I honestly feel like the luckiest girl in the world!
Everyday is Mother's Day for me. I wouldn't change a single thing!

More exciting than I thought!
I guess yesterday was more exciting than I thought.....
The little kids woke up ate two bowls of cereal and were still hungry, so I made us some cinnamon toast! It's a 2 breakfast day! I know you probably won't believe this but these monkeys actually cried when I wouldn't make them more toast after they gobbled down their 2 pieces(each) of cinnamon toast! 3 breakfasts? Seriously? Nope, I have to draw the line somewhere!

Taking shelter
This has certainlly been a day all about the weather! After being out in it for a while, we are hit repeatedly with one storm after another. About 4 major storms in a all, I believe.
But this one, The 3rd one, had a visible tornado headed right for us. We grabbed all our "neccessities" and headed for a safe place. You do see what my kids deem neccessary????
We missed all things severe in the storms thank God!
A few towns surrounding us were indeed damaged.
I just love the skies.
I searched high and low for a rainbow!
Never did get one.
Icing on the cake= Charles, for once, missed all the weather coming home from work. It usually hits right as he is trying to get home. He made it home with no problems.
It definitely was an interesting day!
