Hayley's First Holy Communion

Today we celebrated Hayley's First Holy Communion...

It was a very special day for her.
She looked like a princess and felt so special.
My beautiful little girl is growing up!



We are so proud of her!!!

It has been a long but wonderful and bitter-sweet day!

Hayley told us she felt great because she could receive communion with us now and before today she always felt left out. She said she feels grown up! AND SHE IS, TOO!!!!!!!

Our Angel turns one year old...

I took Hayley out to the park one day in hopes of getting great pictures of our angel running through the woods...I succeed...this was back before our digital era and could not have been happier when I developed my rolls of film to find the most wonderful pictures ever!

I blew these two up to 8X10 and had them on our walls for several years. These are my favorite pictures of Hayley(She has always been Our Angel and Sara will always be Our Princess.)

My goodness...I can't believe eight years have gone by...they passed by so quickly! Hayley has transformed into a beautiful young lady...she will, however, always be "our little angel" but she isn't a "little" girl anymore.

That's right! Our house is under constructiuon, again! Boy there's a suprise...

Out with the old fence...
And all of the trees that were growing through the old fence....
It is really starting to look less like a forest and more like a backyard in the city!

Now it is time for the old tractor...
I don't understand why the guys were so tired...Looks like the tractor is doing all the work! These old posts are slipping right out of the ground like they were sittin' in butter!
So easy a caveman could do it!

We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and neighbors!!!

Of course, this is just day one....we will see if anyone shows up tomorrow! Ha!

AWESOME!!!

We have had several days of beautiful weather. Sunny warm days...nice to be outside.
So I planted a garden and did all my yardwork(with help from my dad and Charles, of course.)
So last night we get rain...not much...but we were suppose to! But check out these amazing clouds that rolled in...looks like sand dunes or ocean waves in the sky.
