Annual Christmas Poem
If you do not know this about me,yet, then it is about time that you did.
I write a poem every year to sum up what each year was like for our family in
the version of Twas the night before Christmas...
I have kept this tradition annual since we re married in 1994
Hope you enjoy...We love to reflect back on what all we have survived or forgotten!
2009
It is the night before Christmas
and we can hardly believe
it has been snowing all day
that's right on Christmas Eve!
That snow is the most perfect way to end
a year that didn't start as great as it began.
You name it- it happened, we had a full plate!
Made us appreciate 2008.
The kids brought home nasty things like
pink eye, ear infections, pnuemonia, (swine flu).
We were at the doctors more than
we were at home or school.
But by spring illnesses "seemed" to settle again.
Spring Break was at Lake Murray with a few close friends.
We really needed this trip, so we could unwind
Why is it that with every good thing comes an END?
We made up for our troubles all summer long!
Went to the Drive-In, Texas Motor Speedway, Dallas Cowboy Stadium, too.
Houston, Lone Star Park, a few movies, swimming and the play park
even back yard camping, fishing, nd Big Sandy, just to name a few!
Our air conditioner went completely out
and the washer flooded, but not on the same day.
So we built our new fence and bought an upright freezer
and new kitchen lighting to help brighten our days!
Kevin went to tennis camp way down at A & M
We also went with him, even though he took Aubrey, his friend
And accomplishments this year were by Hayley Renae
as she made her first communion and had such a special day!
Sara has enjoyed her freedom, her speach and everything else.
Everyday she has something new to learn or to tell.
Ryan is so loving and happy and very funny, too.
I am appreciative they both get along incredibly well.
I know that life comes with some ups and downs
but we fought back harder with leaps and bounds.
On the bright side we gained a few baby boys
Koltyn, Mason and Logan to name a few have arrived, safe and sound!
I couldn't be happier
my life is the best!
MERRY CHRISTMAS To ALL
I think you all know the rest!
Merry Christmas 2009

I wish
I am remembering the good old days of Whataburger Wednesdays. I wish, hope, pray that they come to their senses and bring WW back!!!! Sonic Tuesdays will never live up to the expectations I have!
