Charles and the kids are out of school and off work until January 7th. So, yesterday we had all the grandparents over and made Christmas cookies ALL DAY long.
Sara took her work seriously! She did a great job, too!
The baby also had a hand in the cookie making!
They were so yummmy! We will be so stuffed before Christmas even comes!
I wish you were here to eat some with us. We would share!
I'll trade you some cookies for the ten tons of chocolate candy we brought home yesterday. Haha! Seriously, our sugar intake requirements are more than met for a good solid month.
"It's not having what you want-it's wanting what you have."
No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the human heart conceived, what God has prepared for those who love him. 1 Corithians 2:9

Instead, tell the storm how big your God is!"

Pure Love
Be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
Tough times never last, but tough people do!
Happy moments, praise God.
Difficult moments, seek God.
Quiet moments, worship God.
Painful moments, trust God.
Every moment, thank God.
If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it.

We are a family of six in a tiny town in Texas. We try to visit a new state every year as our vacation spots. So far, we have been to Oklahoma, Colorado, Missouri, Florida, Arizona & New Mexico. We plan to see Mount Rushmore next year!
We like to do things together as a family. We play lots of games, we read, baseball is in our history and so is tennis. We don't "jump" into a lot of activities but we are "all-in" on the ones we do choose.
